Overview:
Will has played with, or opened for many acts, cover bands, or as a solo performer. He has played with Joanne Shenandoah, Keith Secola, the late Floyd 'Red Crow' Westerman, with 4 Way Street, the late Jeff Healey, 5 Man Electrical Band, Barney Bentall and the legendary Hearts, Al Stewart, Colin James, David Wilcox, and many others.
Timeline:
Currently Will is writing new songs and working on a new album. He is also avidly looking for new venues to play and is in search of like minded, talented and committed individuals to form a new band.
As a solo artist, he played Kingsville Folk Music Festival along with Bruce Cockburn, Valdy, Ken Whiteley, Jane Siberry, George Koller, Fish and Bird, Jaron Freeman-Fox, The Opposite of Everything, and many others. In 2013 his original band, The Andy Mason Band played with Murray Porter for Aboriginal Day. 'Tiger' Will has probably played several thousand shows, since his humble beginnings at the Trojan Horse Cafe in August 1983, at the Danforth in Toronto.
In 2004, his original band called Andy and the Tricksters opened for the legendary Redbone at the legendary Yale Blues Club in Vancouver, British Columbia, George Leech at the Robson Art Gallery. They also played with Derek Miller, Brad Henry, Tlingit musician, and many others.
